NOTE: GTech, PASS, and associated images are Copyright (C) by Tesla Electronics, Inc.
PASSedit is a utility to allow editing of certain data in the GTP and GTS files created by the PASS software that comes with the GTech performance meter.
It is freeware and can be freely distributed, although you cannot charge anything for it without prior permission by the author.
The following caveats apply to PASSedit:
-
PASSedit is not affiliated with Tesla Electronics in any way. I own a GTech/Pro Competition and GTech RR and love it, but being unable to easily
edit some information in the GTP/GTS files drove me bananas. I'm sure some future version of PASS will correct these problems.
DO NOT ASK Tesla Electronics, Inc. to support PASSedit! They didn't write it, so don't punish them for it... :)
-
PASSedit is written in VB6, and therefore only functions in Windows 95 or better.
No Linux/Unix, Mac, Commodore, GameBoy, or other versions will be written. Sorry, fringe platforms are not my forte.
-
PASSedit is based on assumptions I've made from examining the GTP/GTS file format, and these assumptions may be totally off-base.
The program has been tested and I'm confident in its general operation on known file formats, but BACK UP YOUR FILES FIRST!
You have been warned... Furthermore, there are no guarantees, expressed or implied, on PASSedit.
I cannot be held responsible for any damages, general user cluelessness, lack of sex life, or plagues of locusts o'er the land.
PASSedit means well; that's all I can say.
-
There is not any guaranteed support for PASSedit.
However, if you email me I will make some attempt to help (time and priorities permitting.)
